The Gibson Family of Lee’s Summit created an upscale, family-based convenience store and restaurant just south of the 50 and the highway 7 intersection several years ago. This community gathering spot includes a nicely stocked grocery section and the “coldest beer in town” inside the Beer Cave. There is a deep selection of well priced wine and liquor. The beautiful building with a vintage hardwood ceiling is immaculately clean with a friendly staff.

The Gibson General Store is a family-owned and operated business. The dog motif on the inside and outside of the building comes from the family’s beloved golden retrievers: Rebel, Annie, Susan, Harley and Sedona.
